A **deposit** is the part of the price you collect in advance. **When to use one:** - Expensive services (extensions, tattoos, bridal make-up) - New customers - Peak season (New Year, Valentine's) **1. Settings → Deposit rule.** Per service: - Extensions: 30% deposit - Bridal make-up: 50% deposit - Haircut: no deposit **2.** The booking screen states clearly that a deposit is being taken. **3. The balance at the till.** When the service is done, the remainder is charged and the system deducts the deposit for you. **4. Cancellation.** Cancel in time and it is refunded; cancel late and the deposit is forfeited.
